Start your next dinner party in style with this easy yet elegant entree of fresh sashimi expertly paired with the tart and spiciness of Moon Mart’s Soy Yuzu Jalapeños. Not only is this dish incredibly photogenic for all you passionate Instagrammers out there, but it also gets your taste buds excited. Just make sure your kingfish is uber fresh and if you’re not confident, get your fishmonger to slice it up for you.
2 Tbsp. Japanese soy sauce
5 Tbsp. yuzu juice*
Moon Mart Soy Yuzu jalapeño chilli, sliced thinly
1 Tbsp. Juices from jar of Moon Mart Soy Yuzu jalapeño
¼ cup coriander leaves, roughly chopped
*Yuzu is an Asian citrus fruit similar to a sour mandarin. Fresh yuzu and bottled yuzu juice can be sourced from Asian grocers.
1. Combine soy sauce and yuzu juice.
2. Slice the fish into slices 3mm to 4mm thick and arrange on a serving plate.
3. Top each slice of fish with a slice jalapeño. Top with coriander leaves and pour the yuzu soy sauce around.
Ask your fishmonger to help you slice the fish if you aren’t confident in doing it yourself.
